Sub Acute Care at Orchard View Manor
If you or a loved one needs rehabilitation or recuperation following an accident or illness, Orchard View Manor can provide a bridge from hospital to home. Our comprehensive sub acute care services are supported by physicians, nursing and activities staff, and a state-of-the-art rehabilitation therapy team that includes physical, occupational and speech therapists. Our goal is to promote maximum recovery and functional independence enabling the safest and quickest return home possible.
Orchard View Manor offers the services for treatment of a full range of complex medical conditions including the following:
- cardiopulmonary rehabilitation
- infusion therapy
- joint replacement therapy
- stroke rehabilitation
- respiratory therapy
- complex wound management
- parenteral nutrition
- tracheostomy care
- pain management
Respite Care
Orchard View Manor is happy to offer a break for those caretakers who might need a little time to refresh and take some time for themselves. We provide respite care on a short term basis. Many families have used this time to go on family vacations or to attend events that they might not be able to attend while tending to the needs of an elderly parent. Respite residents are admitted for a short-term inpatient/residential stay. This is provided primarily as a short break for a family member or primary caregiver from the physical and emotional strain of caring for an ill relative or friend. The resident is expected to return to his/her residence.
Long -Term Care
Our long-term care residents require RN supervised care 24 hours per day. We offer services to those who require minimum assistance with two activities of daily living as well as those with multiple healthcare and rehabilitation needs. We strive to meet the physical, social, emotional, recreational, and spiritual needs of the residents with stimulating activities and a comfortable home-like environment.
Hospice Care
Hospice residents are living with a life-limiting illness. You can be assured that our staff will work with resident and family to set up an environment that promotes quality of life with respect and dignity. Orchard View Manor works closely with hospice agencies to provide professional and volunteers to help residents with end of life choices as well as direct careand support for the patient and family.
